“Mountains are only training for boulders”
Andy Woodward 1974
The best problem I’ve ever done. Not the hardest, by a long way and essentially just 4 moves on perfect gritstone-like mountain rock. On first impressions the steepness of the boulder, combined with a rocky landing area make it seem fairly intimidating for the grade.
An easy first pull is followed by couple of pinch-cum lay-aways on the outside edge of the groove that contrast perfectly with the climatic throw for the “Great White” finishing hold.
